Here I have for sale a Bach Standard model STD 1 Trumpet. THIS IS NOT A STRADIVARIUS. This is a student model cousin of the Strad. I used this as a student all throughout high school concert and marching band, and I have not played it in over 11 years. I payed $100 to have it ultrasonically cleaned at Music and Arts in Oct 2021 (receipt available). It has not been handled/played since. This trumpet functions well. It is structurally sound and all slides, valves and water keys move freely. There is some cosmetic scratching in places on this horn, and one main ding on the 90 degree elbow between the third valve and the water key (pictured). There is some tarnishing on the third valve finger ring. The case for this instrument works but is banged up and well used. Two main issues being one of the plastic feet is missing, and the zippers cannot be zipped all the way closed without messing up. Therefore I only zip it as far as the sides (pictured). Also included is a Jean Baptiste pocket trumpet. This works fine and is a fun little trumpet but it is not an expensive or precision instrument. Slides and valves move freely, though the smallest second valve slide can be a bit difficult to move. Case is in good shape. A blank mouthpiece comes with it. Four mutes are included – a Denis Wick cup mute, and straight mute (has a couple small dings), an Alessi Leblanc Vacchiano straight mute and a Harmon mute also referred to as a “wah wah” mute. All are “used” but in good condition and the cup mute is basically brand new. Three Bach mouthpieces are included – a 3c and two 7c’s. A collapsible trumpet stand, a leather mouthpiece case that’s holds two mouthpieces, a well used leather trumpet valve case wrap, a rubber mouthpiece pouch, a BERP, a plastic P.E.T.E., pencil holder, and various polishing and cleaning clothes, a few cotton gloves, brushes, valve oil and grease are all included. I am including between 10 and 12 solos, and common trumpet training books. As well as a large stack of various music from my time in band and drum corps. This would make a great set up for a student.
