Offered is Vintage Art Postcard – Max Jaffe collotype – depicting the Luminist Painting (1845) “Fur Traders Descending the Missouri” by American Artist, George Caleb Bingham., A Canadian Fur Trader, with presumably his Native American son (Painting was originally titled: “French Trader, Half-Breed Son”) and their Black Cat navigating the Missouri River by Canoe. In the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The PC was likely printed c 1940-50, but cannot be sure. Domestic shipping by eBay Standard Envelope to include tracking (to postal hub nearest destination rather thann to buyer’s address) and insurance. Rigid mailer.
