Comes with a ADE RD3-028 Ares red dot, a weather shield, a Picatinny plate and a pistol optic plate to REPLACE the rear sight of G2c, G2s, G2, PT111 G2, Millennium G2, and TX22 Pistols. This plate also fits Taurus G3 with Original Rear sight(see photo) Does NOT fit Taurus new TX22C( TX22 Compact) which is Optics Ready, please see ADE RD3-018 SPIKE and RD3-021 NUWA(and NUWA PRO) and RD3-030 Apollo fit directly without any plate/adaptor. The pistol plate does NOT fit G3 with NEWER FACTORY STEEL SIGHT, G3C, please search ADE G3C plate in our ebay store on under different listings. Please use the allen wrench provided to take out the 2 hex screws on the top behind the glass frame. It will disconnect the red dot from the picatinny mounting plate. The additional features that the PRO series includes are Multi Reticle Technology(only on select models, read product description to see if this model is equipped), Motion Awake System and are a new cosmetic redesign by ADE in Oregon City, Oregon. ADE RD3-028 Ares Pro is equipped with the Motion Activated System. While the Ares Pro is turned on, the red dot illumination goes to sleep after five minutes of inactivity, but when any motion or vibration is detected, it instantly switches on illumination at the previous brightness setting. Users also have the option to manually turn the red dot power off to disable the Motion Activated System. The overall length is longer than traditional red dot, therefore it only fits on the optic plate that sits ABOVE the slide( typically the plates replacing the rear sight). It does not sit into pistol slide with a milled optic cut because those cuts are typically made for red dots with standard length. The dimension for Ares is 1.84″ length x1.30″ width x1.15″ height ADE RD3-028 Ares Pro is designed with a removeable Weather Shield that protects the sight from moisture and provides a clearer sight picture during inclement weather. Once installed the weather shield will protect from rain or snow and will stay attached even when mounted on a handgun.
