What we do: 1) Completely disassembled (see photo); 2) Important internal parts are washed in an ultrasonic bath with our special product; 3) The old glue is removed from the curtain drums and the curtains are re-glued with new glue if they are okay; 4) Holed and defective curtains with holes or even hardened areas are completely replaced with new ones; 5) The glass parts of the viewfinder are washed; defective optical parts are replaced; 6) The entire interior of the camera is cleaned of sand, dust, mushrooms, insect debris, etc; 7) All mechanisms are carefully reassembled; 8) Lubricated with new special high quality lubricants; 9) Endless focus is checked with a special device; 10) The self-timer is checked and if necessary replaced by a working one; 11) The rangefinder is carefully calibrated with two reference points. ZORKI 4 Refurbished Camera Serial number: Made in: USSR Lens mount: M39 Cosmetic condition: 9/10 10/10 close to new condition, however the item may have some hardly seen evidences of it’s age; 9/10 excellent condition but few slight cosmetic imperfections are there; 8/10 excellent condition with many slight cosmetic imperfections; 7/10 very good condition with normal wear; 6/10 overall good condition with normal wear; 5/10 neither good nor bad cosmetic condition with clearly seen signs of wear and imperfections on the most of parts; 4/10, 3/10, 2/10 – these ratings are applied to rate strongly worn items; 1/10 very poor cosmetic condition, all parts show serious cosmetic damages, dust, rust, thermal or chemical damage. Cleaning marks on glass: Normal Minimal – no marks at all or few hardly seen marks; Normal – Some cleaning marks can be seen having a good look at the glass, as usually on the most of used lenses; Much – The glass is covered by cleaning marks, but the lens provides good image and it can be focused to the test object without difficulties.
